Internationalisation at UoH
For more than three decades the University has welcomed students from many countries, including Iran, Myanmar, Thailand, Mongolia, Nepal, Syria, Argentina, Tanzania, Yemen, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, the Philippines, Ethiopia, South Africa, Guyana, Uzbekistan, Japan, the USA, Germany, France and the Nordic countries.
The National Education Policy 2020 places new emphasis on internationalisation: raising the number of international students in full degree programmes as well as short-term programmes. The University is reviewing its academic programmes to bring in the new ideas of the policy, and the Office for International Affairs, with its Director, Associate Director and management committee, guides and mentors international students throughout their time on campus.
