The University of Hyderabad and Freie Universität Berlin signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Student Exchange Agreement in 2019. In October 2019, the Office for International Affairs and a representative of Freie Universität Berlin signed an Erasmus+ programme for student mobility between the two universities. The Office receives the calls for applications for the Erasmus+ programme from Freie Universität Berlin and shares them with students.
Mobilities funded under this Inter-Institutional Agreement (IIA) are subject to an individual grant agreement between the grantee and Freie Universität Berlin, and to the mobility agreement (for staff) or the learning agreement (for students) concluded by the partner university and Freie Universität Berlin. The partners work towards a balanced exchange of all types of mobility for the duration of the agreement.
